How to Get More Viewers on Live Selling: Build a Visibility Engine That Works
If you’ve ever finished a live show and wondered, “Why didn’t more people come in?” you’re not alone. It’s one of the biggest questions I hear from live sellers:
How do I get more viewers, attract new buyers, and help people discover my live-selling shows?
Here’s the truth: going live is only one part of growing a live-selling business. People also need a way to find you before the show starts, while you’re live, and after the show ends.
That means using searchable titles, strong listings, clear show covers, consistent categories, collaborations, and content across multiple platforms. Instead of relying on one app to send you traffic, you need to build a visibility engine around your business.
My simple growth plan is:
Preload your shop.
Optimize your titles and covers.
Join raid trains and collaborate.
Stay consistent.
Study the results and repeat what works.
Whether you sell on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, Poshmark, Instagram, YouTube, or your own website, these steps can help more of the right people find you.
What Is a Reseller Box? How It Works and When You’re Ready to Buy One
If you’re spending hours driving between thrift stores, digging through bins, and searching clearance racks just to find enough products for your next live show, you may be wondering whether it’s time to buy a reseller box.
A reseller box is a prepacked group of inventory purchased by a reseller with the intention of selling the items individually for a profit. Depending on the supplier, a box may be organized by category, brand, size, condition, or price level. Some boxes clearly list what you’ll receive, while others contain a surprise assortment.
Reseller boxes can help you source more inventory in less time. They also require a larger investment than sourcing from your own home or purchasing individual thrifted pieces. The right time to buy one is when you understand what your customers want, know your numbers, and can sell the inventory fast enough to keep your money moving.
You don’t need a reseller box to start a reselling business—but when you’re ready, the right box can save time and help you grow.
How Long Should You Keep Reseller Inventory? My 30-Day Sell-Through System
If you have racks, bins, or shelves full of products that haven’t sold, you may be wondering: How long should a reseller keep inventory before discounting it or letting it go?
For most of my fast-moving live-selling inventory, I use a 30-day product lifecycle. I give an item its best opportunity during the first week, make strategic adjustments during weeks two and three, and move it out during week four if it still hasn’t sold.
That doesn’t mean every product must be gone on day 30. Seasonal, luxury, vintage, collectible, and other high-value items may need a longer selling window. But every item should have a plan. Inventory should never sit indefinitely simply because you don’t know what to do with it.
I learned that inventory isn’t just clothing hanging on a rack or products sitting in boxes. It’s money. When that inventory stops moving, your money stops moving too.
Here is the simple reseller inventory system I use to protect my cash flow, prevent dead stock, and make better sourcing decisions.

How to Buy a Liquidation Pallet for Reselling: What to Know Before You Invest
Use this guide to decide whether you’re ready for a reseller pallet, evaluate the inventory, calculate your real costs, and avoid expensive wholesale-buying mistakes.
The first time I bought pallets for my reselling business, my husband and I rented a cargo van, loaded our four children inside, and drove 12 hours from Southern California to Utah.
We didn’t want to send thousands of dollars to a company without seeing the inventory or confirming that the business was legitimate.
What started as a sourcing trip quickly became a family adventure.

You can start by looking inside your own home.
How to Ship Live-Selling Orders: A Simple Shipping Workflow for Resellers
Use this simple sticker system to organize, pack, and ship orders from Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, or wherever you sell online.
Shipping can feel like the most intimidating part of starting a live-selling or reselling business.
Selling the product is exciting. Then the show ends, you look at the pile of sold inventory, and realize every item must make it to the right buyer.
I understand that feeling because I’ve made some painful shipping mistakes.
During one of the worst shipping days of my reselling journey, more than 200 packages were returned to my front door because the package dimensions were wrong. Each one had a red stamp telling me the label was voided and needed to be repurchased.
I cried. I panicked. I thought I had ruined my business.
But that mistake forced me to learn how shipping really works—and how important it is to create a system before your sales begin growing.
Shipping became much easier when I stopped relying on my memory and started following the same simple workflow after every sale.
Today, I’m sharing that workflow with you.
